Logitech are sliming down gaming with the G515 Lightspeed TKL Wireless Keyboard

Logitech have announced a big update to their beloved G Series of gaming keyboards, with the new G515 Lightspeed TKL Gaming Keyboard, which offers the same experience users know, but now at just 22mm thick.

As the keyboard is only 22mm thick, it means that its considered a low profile keyboard, something that I am very happy about. Being low profile it also means the typing experience is more comfortable, as your hand does not need to reach up to get to the top of the keys.

It isn’t just a thinner keyboard that makes this something special, as the G515 features low-profile switches that activate with minimal distance—only 1.3mm—and a total travel distance of 3.2mm, shorter than traditional switches. This enables gamers to accelerate actions per minute. Couple that with the a layer of sound-dampening foam, pre-lubricated switches, integrated stabilisers, and premium PBT keycaps, the end result should be a typing experience that you are likely to enjoy as much as the games you play with it.

The keyboard can also be completely customised, like in turning off the lighting, or modifying what keys do using the G Hub software, as the keyboard supports KeyControl. This means that every single key on the keyboard, can be programmed to support 15 different actions, giving users complete control over their device.

The keyboard will be available for $269.95 and is offered in Black and White, you can order it direct from Logitech here, or check with your preferred retailer.
