Local registrations for the APAC Predator League 2022 are open now

After a few years of online only events, the Asia Pacific Predator League Grand Finals will be returning to an in-person event this November, when they take place from November 11 to 13 in Japan.

If you fancy yourself a talented player of Dota 2, then you can sign up now, along with enough people to make a team and take part in the qualifiers, in order to earn your spot in the finals. If you want to take part, first things first, the dates all the local events are taking place on:

  • Qualifiers 1: 13-14 Aug (online)

  • Qualifiers 2: 20-21 Aug (online)

  • Playoffs: 27th Aug (online)

  • Finals: 3rd Sep (online)

As you can see, all of them are online only, so no need to travel anywhere to take part. You will however need to register as there will be a maximum of 64 teams, competing across 4 weekends, to determine the local winners and crown our Australian representatives, who will be sent to Japan.

“After two years of lockdown and travel restrictions, we are so excited to meet the esports teams in-person again. ‘Become One’ is the theme for Predator League 2022, emphasising the need to reconnect with fellow gamers, and demonstrating Acer’s commitment to the gaming community,” said Andrew Hou, President of Acer Pan Asia Pacific Regional Operations.

If you win in the local events, you could net yourself a part of the $10,000 prize pool and if you win the entire thing, then the prize pool from the Japan event is a staggering $575,000 dollary-doos.

All the rules, including how to register, can be found on the official website.
