Kirby's Dream Buffet is set to sweeten your Switch later this Winter

Nintendo have announced that later this Winter, Kirby is getting another game on Switch with Kirby’s Dream Buffet, a new multiplayer focused title that will have you rolling across levels made of cake and other foods. The catch, in order to roll faster, you need to eat more and the more you eat, the faster you go, check out the adorable trailer for it below.

The games can be played either locally or online, there does not appear to be any single player options however, but the main goal is simple, get to the goal line first and be the heaviest Kirby to do so.

As you race down the courses, you can snack on strawberries, in order to boost your size and if you are larger, you can bump the others out of your way, but the same works in reverse.

Feeling like you are not going to win, not to worry, Kirby can grab Food Boxes that dot the tracks, in order to unlock food based copy abilities.

There is no release date for it, outside of Winter, so could be tomorrow, or could be August 31st, time will tell. Interestingly, the game appears to be a paid offering, as they state that Nintendo Switch Online is required for the game, but free to play titles do not need a membership to that.
