JBL are hitting up PAX Australia again with giveaways and eSport finals

JBL Quantum, the gaming arm of audio specialists JBL have announced that they will one again be attending PAX Australia, bringing their latest line up of products for folks to check out.

Before we get into that, we need to talk free stuff, as we all know people love free and JLB will have a claw machine that is free to try your luck on, with $45,000 worth of prizes to be won.

We are thrilled to once again partner with ESL and return to PAX, bringing our immersive sound closer to the gaming community. We’ve consistently grown with the gaming community and can’t wait to bring mainstage vibes on the JBL QUANTUM Grand Slam day, Saturday October 7th.
— Ashleigh Kingston, Marketing Manager - Harman Lifestyle Division

The JBL Quantum Grand Slam will also be on deck to present the finals, where Rocket League teams will be on hand to try to take home 1st place and their share of the $10,000 prize pool.

The 2022 JBL Quantum Grand Slam champions PWR will be competing to keep their crown, but will be challenged by Ground Zero Gaming, Placeholders and Tsurani.

We’re excited to be working with the team at JBL Quantum again to bring one of the biggest Rocket League events in the calendar to PAX Australia this year.

There’s no better place to host the JBL Quantum Grand Slam than on our stage at the PAX Arena; we can’t wait to show PAX fans what we’ve got in store for them this October.
— Ben Green, Head of Product for ESL Australia

For those not keen on free stuff of eSports, the newly released JBL Quantum 100 series will be at the booth, letting you check them out. There are two models for the headset, the 100X and 100P, with each designed to take full advantage of Xbox and PlayStation consoles respectively.

The 100X is designed for Xbox and features Windows Sonic Surround support, but will work on PC and Switch without issue.

The 100P is designed for PlayStation and is compatible with PlayStation 5’s 3D Audio, it too though will work on PC and Switch.

Both headsets can have their mics removed and feature some of that special JBL QuantumSound tech, to give great audio, but at a price that won’t break the bank.
