Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Has been revealed via the Xbox Developer_Direct

This year marks the 15th year since the last proper Indiana Jones game, and while a few folks have attempted to make a game in that time, including Lucasfilm Games, nothing ever happened, until now.

MachineGames know a thing or two about punching nazis and Todd Howard agreed, as he took his vision to Lucasfilm and now we finally get to see what they were working on, so check out the trailer for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

While the trailer was incredible, the studio had more to share. One of the first things they confirmed, which you can see in the trailer, is that the game is locked to the first person perspective, which is fine by me. The game will swap back to a 3rd person point of view in certain situations, in order to show off Indy doing Indy things.

The games story takes place in between the first and third movies, so that means Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is now the 3rd Indiana Jones story, timeline wise.

There are of course puzzles to solve, but there are also no real fixed paths in combat situations, you can run in and punch them, or sneak by and if neither of those works, you can also break out the whip and other items in the world, to really use a style that suits your playstyle.

The games visuals are going to be epic, with some familiar locations from the movies and a few new ones, along with an Indiana Jones that looks like Harrison Ford, but he is not the only one, as Dr. Marcus Brody is in the game as well. There are new characters as well, including Gina who will be on the same journey

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is aiming for a 2024 release, towards the end of the year, but there is no exact date for it yet. It is of course Xbox Series X|S and PC exclusive, with it launching into Game Pass on release day. Check out the full developer presentation in the video below.
