Hoppers kicks off a packed few years for Pixar

At the Disney Entertainment Showcase at D23, there was a lot of Pixar news and most of it was not given anything more than a logo, it was still news, so here is all that was shown off. Let us begin with the first and only thing to be given a trailer.

Win or Lose

This is the debut TV series from Pixar and in Win or Lose, we will get the same story 8 times, just from eight different points of view. Those views include the insecure kids, their helicopter parents, even a lovesick umpire—as they prepare for a championship softball game.

The series will play ball on Disney+ on December 6

Dream Productions

In addition to the above TV series, Pixar also announced Dream Productions, an all-new series that is set between Inside Out and Inside Out 2, and it focuses on the movie studio where Riley’s dreams are made. All we have right now is a logo and a piece of concept art.

As for movies we have a few to talk about. First up Elio.

Elio

This is the next movie to release, coming out in the middle of 2025 and stars a young boy who is abducted by aliens and finds a new adventure among the stars. Below is the synopsis released by Pixar:

The original feature film introduces Elio, an underdog with an active imagination who finds himself inadvertently beamed up to the Communiverse, an interplanetary organization with representatives from galaxies far and wide. Mistakenly identified as Earth’s ambassador to the rest of the universe, and completely unprepared for that kind of pressure, Elio must form new bonds with eccentric alien lifeforms, survive a series of formidable trials and somehow discover who he is truly meant to be.

Part of the presentation delivers a new poster and the reveal that Zoe Saldana would be joining the cast, for now check out the teaser trailer from last year.

And the new poster

Toy Story 5

Yes, the toys are back in town in 2026 and this time they are being directed by Andrew Stanton, best know for Finding Nemo, Finding Dory and Wall-e. More details for that one can be found here.

Hoppers

Another new movie coming in 2026, Hoppers tells the story of a scientist who puts the brain of a young girl into a beaver. Jon Hamm, Bobby Moynihan, and Piper Curda are set to star in the movie. So far all we have is the art below.

Incredibles 3

Yep a third movie and all we know is that the movie will be directed by Brad Bird, the creator and director of the first two. The only thing we have to show is a new logo.
