Hisense Australia steps up its TV game in 2020

Hisense Australia have announced that in 2020 local TV buyers will be able to pick up their new ULED screen, which is powered by Dual Cell technology. This new tech takes two individual screens, precision bonds them together, and then lets them display what you need to see.

The rear screen is limited to the greyscale of things, so your blacks and whites, the top screen is your colours, but how it works is that if you are meant to see a dark red or a deep blue, the greyscale layer will block out extra light, giving you the rich colour that you deserve to see.

Head of Marketing at Hisense Australia, Andre Iannuzzi, said: “If there ever was a Hisense TV technology to challenge OLED, this would be it. With its highly innovative composition and design, the ULED XD combines two LCD layers that are fused together to create one incredibly impressive display. It sets a new standard in LED TVs and we can’t wait to introduce it to Australians.”

In addition to the Dual Cell technology, the TV’s will also be equipped with Dolby Vision HDR, meaning that each colour you see will reflect the real would colour, no more close enough, these will be accurate. This means that vibrant colours will still be vibrant, so showing off your holiday photos of the crystal blue water will remain crystal blue.

On top of that, each TV will come with Dolby Atmos Audio, meaning that everything that looks good, will sound just as good as well, making the TV the perfect set up for any home theatre or gaming space. With multiple modes for sport, gaming and more, you will find the perfect set up for any occasion.

Finally, the TV will come powered up with an updated AI-powered OS, letting you get the best versions of software whenever they become available. The only downside for now, there is no price, but tech of this scale won’t come cheap, once a price is known, we shall pass it on.
