Rebellion have been working away on Atomfall for a while now and many thought that would be it, but in a surprising move, they have also been working on a new Sniper Elite game. Check out the reveal trailer for Sniper Elite: Resistance.

While this is a new game, it actually runs alongside that of Sniper Elite 5, so players will step into the shoes of a different character, one not unknown to fans. Harry Hawker, agent of the Special Operations Executive (SOE), takes the lead role for the first time in the series as he discovers an insidious new Wunderwaffe - something so powerful, it guarantees the Nazis would win the war.

Fans of the series will be happy to know the x-ray based kill cam is here, along with the ability to upgrade and customise your weapons, so you can take down all those nazis. The game will also offer a campaign that can be played solo or in co-op, however if you want, you can also be competitive in the games multiplayer mode Invasion.

The game does not have a firm release date at this time, it is aiming for 2025 though. When it does release it will come to Xbox, PC and PlayStation, with it also being a day one addition to Game Pass.
