Harley Quinn and Joker are getting new looks and a new world with Suicide Squad Isekai

During the recent Anime Expo, DC and Warner Bros revealed that Harley Quinn and Joker are set to be isekai’d in an all-new series, that is set to release first in Japan, check out the trailer below.

The shows creative team has been assembled with the main character designer having worked on a number of shows including Gurren Lagann. The composer Kenichiro Suehiro is the man behind the music for Goblin Slayer and a lot more, with the animation being done at Wit Studio, who produced the first 60 episodes of Attack on Titan, currently creating Spy X Family and some Star Fox.

There is no release date for the show, but hey if Batman can be come a samurai, Harley and Joker can sure as heck isekai. For those not in the know, isekai is a term that is used for another world, usually a character will die and be reborn in another world, or they are summoned to be a hero, it is a very popular genre.
