The Razer Hammerhead Duo brings twice the sound
Razer has announced the all new Hammerhead Duo headphones, designed with duel drive tech, to provide clear and powerful audio on the go. There are two variants being made available, one standard one and one enhanced for Nintendo Switch.
“The Hammerhead Duo primes dual driver technology to become a standard for mobile audio users,” said Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and CEO. “It delivers a clear and precise audio experience in a comfortable form factor that perfectly meets the demands of daily use no matter where you are.”
Compared to single driver headphones, dual drivers allow for more effective sound separation and produce clearer and louder audio that is free from distortion – resulting in a crisper, more precise audio experience whether you are catching up on your favourite TV series or music playlist on the go.
To make it suitable for daily commute and travel, the Razer Hammerhead Duo was also designed to be slim and light-weight, while maintaining an aluminium frame and braided cables to make it comfortable, durable and fuss-free. It also comes with three silicon tip sizes for a comfortable and secure fit that effectively reduces unwanted outside noise. Its analog 3.5mm jack allows the Razer Hammerhead Duo to work cross-platform, with smartphones, PC, Mac, console, and more.
The Nintendo Switch variant sports an inline microphone with mute switch that allows for convenient communication across games and calls, a silver Razer logo on each earpiece, and a carry case for easy storage – keeping the in-ears organized to avoid cluttering bags and pockets in-between gaming sessions.
Either model will set you back $109.95, but the Switch version is not going to be available to buy until June, the regular one is out now. For those who want tech specs, you can see them below:
