Halo Infinite is celebrating 20 years of Halo 2

A new update for Halo Infinite has been released that adds a new section to the games multiplayer, all in support of 20 years of Halo 2.

Get ready to dive into nostalgia with the new Delta Arena playlist, a thrilling homage to the legendary Halo 2 multiplayer maps. These iconic battlegrounds have been meticulously recreated in Forge by the skilled hands of the Halo community's Forgers. Experience the authentic gameplay of yesteryears as you navigate through the misty sniper nests of Ascension, engage in electrifying Energy Sword duels in Midship's neon-lit corridors, or survive the intense close-quarters combat in the iconic Lockout. It's a true blast from the past for Halo enthusiasts.

Below is the complete list of maps along with their original names and the updated names they will feature in the Halo Infinite Delta Playlist:

If that was not enough Halo 2 for you, the original E3 demo for Halo 2 has been recreated and will be available as a mod for The Master Chief Collection but only for those players on Steam, console players are being left out, which is honestly a slap in the face considering the series is considered a console series.

Finally, there is some Halo x Forza content coming to Forza Motorsport 5, specifically via the play lab, so players can create their own Halo themed events.
