Devolver Digital revealed during their recent Devolver Direct that a new game from the creators of Ape Out and Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy, will be stepping out in 2024 for PC and PlayStation 5, say hello to Baby Steps.

The game is simple, you play as Nate, a bum who lives in his parents basement who is then transported to another world. In this world he discover the power inside, putting one foot in front of the other.

As you explore the world as Nate, you can go as fast as you can or slower if you find walking to be challenging, but as you explore the game will create a soundtrack based on the sounds you discover.

For those seeking authenticity, there is also a fully dynamic soilage mechanic for Nate’s onesie, but sadly the hats int he game are non-collectable.

The game is coming sometime in 2024 for PC and PlayStation 5.
