Developer Violet Saint and publisher Good Shepherd Entertainment have come together to announce Moroi, a new top-down adventure game, that will have players attempting to escape a labyrinth of twisting corridors and forgotten horrors. Check out the reveal trailer for it below.

Afflicted by amnesia, your name, past, and sins are lost to memory, enshrouded in darkness. As you struggle through this realm of torment, you encounter grotesque inhabitants in a land where dark-as-night humour is the only solace. Hold on to your sanity in an otherwise decaying existence, styled as grimdark fantasy, a subgenre of fiction characterized by bleak, dystopian settings and scenarios.

Engage in battle Moroi's battalions of mages, guards, and the cursed undead while wielding aabre arsenal of unconventional weaponry. Rive through the flesh of your adversaries with the serrated a hellish duck, or unleash a barrage of projectiles with the assistance of a flying brain. At every turn, you will encounter unexpected discoveries or new instruments death.

The horrors of the labyrinth extend beyond the bloody thrill of combat, conjuring otherworldly environments, eccentric acquaintances, and puzzles requiring unconventional approaches. The game is only announced for PC at this time and the release date is just Early 2025, however given we are already in early 2025, I imagine that late February or March are likely release windows. For now you can wishlist the game on Steam.
