Get ready for adventure when Ys X: Nordics arrives this November

NIS America have announced that Ys X: Nordics will arrive on November 1st for PlayStation, PC and Switch. Check out the newest trailer for the game below.

Here is the official synopsis about the game:

Following their tenuous encounter at sea, the young red-haired adventurer Adol Christin and the proud pirate Karja Balta find themselves bound by fate – and the mysterious power of Mana! As they search for a way to undo the mystical ties that bind them, they soon find themselves caught up in a conflict between two factions: the seafaring warriors known as the Normans and the enigmatic and seemingly immortal Griegr. In order to save the people of Obelia Gulf, Adol and Karja must navigate the depths of their unexpected bond and the power that it grants them.

One major addition to this game is cross mechanic, of which there are two modes within. The first mode, Solo, lets you control either Adol or Karja at one time, whereas the other option is Duo. This mode lets you control both characters at the same time, you can learn more about each mode and the skills on offer here.

Something fun for the game is that you can now sail a ship, the Sandras. Once on board you can set sail around the Obelia Gulf, but you will need to learn from the towns and sea charts, to make sure you know where you are going. While sailing enemy ships might come after you, but you might also find undiscovered islands with a bit of treasure to claim.

There is a lot more to learn about the game, you can do all that here.

The game is going to release in a standard form, a digital form and then a Deluxe Edition and a Limited Edition. You can see what is in both extra editions below, there is no confirmation of a local release at this time however.

NIS America provided the release date of October 25th over the weekend, but as with most of their games, the local release date is a little bit later, November 1st to be exact, so we have updated the story with the correct date.

The game is set to launch on October 25th for PlayStation 5, Switch, PC and PlayStation 4.
