Get another look at the world of Flintlock: Siege of Dawn, with this latest dev diary

Kepler Interactive and developer A44 Games have released another behind the scenes video for Flintlock: Siege of Dawn, which shows off more of the world that players will get the chance to explore.

In the clip, Art Director, Robert Bruce, and Principal Environment Artist, Steven Chen share details of how they were Inspired by the nature and landscapes of A44’s native New Zealand & how it influenced the game’s visuals by adding a depth and fullness to this brand-new world. From towering citadels to cavernous ruins and far-reaching desert sands, Flintlock is designed for exploration and rewards players who go the extra mile to uncover even more.

They also touch on Flintlock’s character design, the high level of detail in every encounter and how, as a small studio, A44 are at the forefront of design leveraging tools such as Unity’s MetaHuman Creator to bring their characters to life through highly detailed animation.

The game is set to release later this year for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, along with it launching into Xbox Game Pass on release day.
