Games of October 2024
October is here which means a large amount of spooky games, but also the rest of the yearly releases are set to launch, making this one busy month.
Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is bringing the series back to a parity release, ie no more PlayStation first content, which has been the case since the early days of the PlayStation 4. This return actually takes the series back to the original Xbox and PlayStation 2 days, before things like map packs became a thing.
In addition Super Mario Party Jamboree is out this month, which is the 3rd Mario Party game on Switch, not counting the NSO apps and contains the most party of any game in the series. Switch owners are getting a number of releases this month as well, most of which hit other platforms earlier in the year.
