Freedom Planet 2 is finally coming to consoles this April
Marvelous Europe have announced that Freedom Planet 2 will soon leap from PC to consoles, when the game lands on April 4th. In celebration of the news, we have a new trailer to enjoy, check it out below.
Eagle eyed viewers may have spotted the new Boss Rush mode in the trailer above, as this is a new mode coming to the game on April 4th. PC players will also score the update the same day as the console release, so no worries there.
These new challenges will be accessible from the in-game Battlesphere, bringing the total number of challenges and modes available up to 20. ‘Boss Rush’ will feature two divisions with 17 deadly bosses each to challenge Lilac, Carol, Milla, or Neera in a marathon of speed and skill. Players able to best both boss divisions will unlock access to a special in-game VIP room with Easter eggs for dedicated Freedom Planet fans.
So with multiple characters, stages, and now the boss rush mode, there is a lot to look forward to on April 4th when the game hits all consoles.
