Forspoken loses its May release and slips back to October

Square Enix have announced that Forspoken, the upcoming adventure game that has players take on the role of Frey in a strange and magical new world, will no longer release this May and will now instead release on October 11.

The news was confirmed via a tweet, which you can see below.

This is not the first time Square Enix have delayed a game, but it is likely that the less than spectacular launch of Babylon’s Fall, of which we will have a review soon, didn’t help matters.

Either way, those looking to save a new world, will have to wait until October 11, when Forspoken lands on both PlayStation 5 and PC.
