Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves has set its opening date for April 2025
SNK have revealed the release date for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, with the game set to arrive on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation, along with Xbox Series X|S and PC on April 4th, 2025. As part of the news they have released a new trailer for the game, which you can enjoy below.
Alongside the release date news confirmation that Mai Shiranui would return as a playable character to the game, though with a new default look. Don’t worry though, the iconic red outfit is included as well. Check out her reveal trailer and screens below.
It wasn’t just a date and a new (returning) character that was revealed today as more game modes were also announced. One new mode is Episodes of South Town, a solo RPG where challengers battle foes under unique conditions, earning XP and building skills along the way. Level up and chase the crown in South Town to forge a legend unlike any other.
The game has also been integrated rollback netcode and cross-platform functionality, offering flawless matches with players across any system. Choose from Ranked, Casual, and Room Matches, and watch as AI technology crafts clones from player’s styles to challenge others or even themselves.
Plus there is a Jukebox mode, new control schemes (and classics) and of course the new REV System. You can learn all about the modes and details on the game official site.
