Fallout 76 is free to play for a week and on sale to boot

Bethesda have announced that in celebrating Bombs Drop Day in Fallout 76, the entire game is free on all platforms for a week, letting more players experience the game.

Through until October 27, players can get the full Fallout 76 experience, including the Wastelanders and Nuclear Winter updates and if that wasn’t enough for you, anyone who does buy the full game, which is also on sale, will see their progress carried over.

The other Fallout games are getting into the spirit of things as well, with discounts across the board. Here are all the Fallout 4 sales:

  • Fallout 4 GOTY – 70% off base price

  • Fallout 4 – 70% off base price

  • All Individual Fallout 4 DLCs – 60% off base price (discount excluding PlayStation Store)

  • Fallout 4 Season Pass – 60% off

Those who play Fallout Shelter can also get some discounted items, should you choose to, though for some reason not on the PlayStation Store.

The final big bit of news is that all players can also sample Fallout 1st, that membership program for Fallout 76 and while they do, any items they obtain during the free trial will remain after the trial, which is nice.
