F1 2021 is getting those tires ready, as it is hitting the track this July

EA and Codemasters, yep that is a thing now, have announced that F1 2021 is coming this year to the usual platforms, but for the first time will also get a next gen experience on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.

This years game will feature the usual modes, but will also get some new ones, like the new story mode, Breaking Point. In this mode, players will need to rise from the ranks of Formula 2 and race to the top of the F1. In it, you will also get to experience the lifestyle both on and off the track as you take your seat in the pinnacle of motorsport.

That’s not all. After his infamous debut in F1 2019, Devon Butler is back. More details will be revealed about him and the games brand-new story mode, Braking Point in the coming weeks.

In addition, the entire mainline career mode, not the story mode, will now support a full two player experience, meaning you can race with friends, or race against them if you want to be rivals. As each player will have complete control over the assists, you’ll be able to enjoy the game whether you’re a veteran or a newcomer to the series.

For those who have jumped into next-gen already, for the first time, F1 2021 is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 with the usual visual uplifts and faster loading times. Plus if you’re planning to upgrade, F1 2021 will support Xbox Smart Delivery and PlayStation’s free upgrade if you’re switching to an Xbox Series X|S or PlayStation 5, the usual restrictions apply.

The game is set to hit the track on July 17 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, for now, you can scope out some of the cars announced for the game below.
