Exoprimal will send waves of dinosaurs onto players this July
Capcom have announced that Exoprimal, the online only dinosaur slaughter game, will be hitting all announced platforms on July 14 and will launch on day one into Game Pass. Check out the newest trailer for the game below.
Also shown off during the trailer were two new exosuits, Krieger and Nimbus. Each model has unique powers to assist their allies on the battlefield. Krieger has a heavy arsenal geared to stop enemies in their tracks. This hulking Tank-type Exosuit wields heavy artillery to protect the team with formidable suppressive firepower. Meanwhile, Nimbus is a highly mobile Support-type Exosuit. This roller-skating pistoleer can rush into combat with guns ablaze or weave through dinosaur swarms to heal injured squadmates.
Capcom have also confirmed that a beta test for the game, which will help test out the cross-platform feature, will happen next weekend. It is important to note that the ability to play with friends is limited to platforms of a similar nature, so PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. There is no full cross-play for the game, so Xbox and PlayStation can’t play with each other. The full details can be found here, but there is one specific thing that needs to be known.
In order to take part in the beta and play the full game, along with most Capcom titles going forward it seems, a Capcom ID is required. This has no connection to any other online service, if you want to buy the game on PlayStation 5, you still need PlayStation Plus to play the game online, but in order to play the game online you also need the Capcom ID.
