Enter the ruins of a civilisation when Voidwrought hits Switch and PC later this year
During the Future Games Show for March 2024, there were a number of reveals and updates, you can read the full list here, one of the new games announced is Voidwrought, a metroidvania inspired game that will send players into the thawing ruins of the First Civilisation. So what is the game all about, below is the official description provided by Kwalee, the games publisher.
Voidwrought lets players take control of the newly-born Simulacrum and delve into the thawing ruins of the First Civilisation to strike down the primaeval gods that dwell there. Voidwrought features dramatically-realised hand-drawn locations, from the star-scorched Surface to the biomechanical Abandoned Expedition, inhabited by over 70 enemies and 10 formidable bosses.
Right now the game has no release date beyond 2024, but when it does release it will hit PC and Switch, the latter being a perfect home for a metroidvania inspired title.
