Elgato have announced two new products for their Stream Deck+ device, which are designed to enhance its potential, depending on your needs. They are the XLR Dock and USB Hub, which will arrive into selected retailers starting on August 25th.

Update on pricing. Elgato have confirmed the local prices for both units here and that they will be available via the Amazon Elgato store in late August.

• For just the USB Hub, the RRP is $109

• For just the XLR Dock, the RRP is $209

• For the XLR Dock and Stream Deck +, the RRP is $519

The USB Hub is the one that many might find useful as it gives you more ports. Around back, there’s room for up to four devices, from peripherals to external drives. It also powers a laptop, freeing the port they’d normally use for charging. Files transfer fast at speeds up to 5 Gb/s via USB-C, or using a convenient SD card reader on its side. Stream Deck + connects all this to the user’s computer with a single cable.

For those who are more audio focused, the XLR Dock is where things are at. What this device does is take the existing Wave XLR dock functions, gives them a new shell and then connects to Stream Deck+.
