During the recent State of Play, developer Koei Tecmo was on board to reveal an all-new entry in their long running musou series, Dynasty Warriors: Origins, check out the reveal trailer below.

In the latest installment of the game, players are thrust into the heart of battle where quick thinking and rapid responses are crucial. The sheer size and might of enemy forces are unlike anything seen before, making strategic coordination with allies imperative. As players engage in real-time combat, they'll cut through enemy ranks in the most intense battles the series has ever offered.

For the first time in the Dynasty Warriors saga, players will experience the story from the perspective of an unnamed hero. This fresh narrative angle allows players to navigate the historic chaos of the Three Kingdoms, exploring the expansive territories of China and encountering its legendary generals in a way that's never been done in the series.

The game is coming in 2025 and will release for PC, Xbox Series X|S and of course, PlayStation 5.
