Dragon Age: The Veilguard offers up 20 minutes of gameplay

Bioware have finally revealed gameplay for Dragon Age Dreadwolf, I mean The Veilguard and not just a little bit of it, around 20 minutes of gameplay, so check it out.

In the gameplay video, we get to see the player character Rook, who in the video is show as a Rogue, but other variants include a Warrior and Mage, you can see the other two options below. The options below are just 3 potential looks, as when you start you will choose your class, lineage, gender, appearance and more. Choosing different factions that Rook is apart of, will provide different choices for both you and your party.

Combat is going to provide more depth than in past games, as the combat is driven by a more fluid nature this time. But don’t worry if you want the tactical option like older games, as there is now the ability wheel. Just like in past games, it lets you pause the action, issue commands to your party members, activate your own abilities and even let loose with some devastating combo attacks. But as this is your adventure, you can completely customise the wheel to suit you, including the option to assign some abilities to a shortcut.

That is all the detail that has been confirmed at this stage, but we do have a lot of new screens to enjoy, showing off locations that we saw in the gameplay like Minrathous and Arlathan, but we also have more like Rivain, Weisshaupt, the Deep Roads, Docktown and the Necropolis Halls.

The game is aiming to launch sometime in the Spring months of this year, but there is no set date on when exactly that will be. We do know it will come to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
