Discover how to play Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection with this new trailer
Ahead of the games release later this week, Altus have released a new trailer for Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection that shows off how you play it, perfect for those players coming in for the first time, or those returning after an extended absence.
The Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection includes three titles, all of them remastered from their original releases and include new art. Play as the leader of a guild of adventurers, searching for rare treasures and secrets within the depths of a vast, sprawling labyrinth.
Traverse and draw a map of the environment while encountering enemies large and small in turn-based combat, then return to town to rest, sell materials for better equipment, and manage your party, selecting from a collection of heroes to build the right team for the job.
On the Switch release, players will be able to use the systems touch screen to draw in the map as they explore, but there is also an auto-mapping feature that will let you leave that to the game, so you can just explore.
The collection is landing on June 1st for Switch and PC.
