Discover how much Pac-Man World Re-Pac has changed in 20 year, with a new comparison trailer
Bandai Namco have released a new trailer for Pac-Man World Re-Pac, which shows off the visual upgrades that the game has had, since its original release 20 years ago and its upcoming remake release, check it out.
In the game, you play as Pac-Man, as he heads out into six mysterious worlds, in order to rescue his family that were kidnapped by Toc-Man. Throughout the journey, you will be able to make use of familiar Pac-Man abilities, like Bomb Attack and such, but the game will also offer new ways to play. When you jump, the game will let you hang in the air, extending the timing of the jump, giving players time to eat a Power Pallet and grow to become Mega Pac-Man.
For those who are new to games, or platformers in general, the game will also offer a new Easy Mode, which includes 'Easy Blocks', something that the developer states will help all players enjoy the game. Sadly they have not specified exactly how, but I suspect they will be like the blocks that have appeared in recent Mario games, that turn your character invulnerable, so you can just make your way through the stage.
The game is coming on August 26 for Switch, PlayStation, PC and Xbox.
