CYGNI: All Guns Blazing targets consoles in addition to its PC release
Konami has announced that they are partnering with developer KeelWorks, to bring CYGNI: All Guns Blazing to PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 in 2023. Check out the announcement trailer for the game below.
CYGNI: All Guns Blazing is a twin-stick vertical scrolling shooter that delivers old school nostalgia, but marries it with next-gen graphics and features. The game was revealed for PC sometime ago, but the consoles are new additions to the line up. Here is a little blurb about the game:
Outgunned and outmanned, plunge into a sky full of hell in a last-ditch war for survival. Choose to route energy between weapons or shield systems and go up against unrelenting waves of ground and aerial enemies. Upgrade your ship and take down colossal alien bosses in visceral combat; do whatever it takes to survive.
You will be able to take on the biomechanical alien race on your own, or with a friend in local co-op and as you can opt to swap your energy usage on the fly, between defensive and offensive, playing with a mate could be just the ticket to success.
With massive bosses that fill the screen, to waves and waves of smaller enemies, all intent on blasting you to pieces, you will have to pick up power ups and lay waste to them. The game will also feature a full orchestral soundtrack, so you can really feel that Hollywood atmosphere.
There is no date for the game, beyond 2023, but you can wishlist it on both Steam and PlayStation Store.
