Cyberpunk 2077 has finally been enhanced for next gen, complete with new content for all platforms

It may have taken a year longer than planned, but the next-gen enhanced version of Cyberpunk 2077 has now gone live for both Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, with those players who have yet to get the game, now being able to try before they buy.

In celebration of the launch onto next gen, CD Projekt Red have announced that a trial for the game is available on the new platforms. Between now and March 15, you can download the game on either platform and get 5 hours of playtime from it, once the time ends, you can opt to buy it and your save data will carry across.

While the next gen launch is big news, there is more news to love if you are still playing on other platforms as well, as the game has been patched across the board, bringing it to version 1.5. From improved crowd AI, to melee changes and new driving mechanics, there is a lot packed into this update, you can get the full patch notes here and the handy little graphic below shows off which platforms get which improvements.

Finally, if you just want to see the next gen versions in action, the team have released two videos, one for each platform and you can check them out below.
