Crash Bandicoot is back… with Crash Team Rumble
After teasing something for months, Crash Bandicoot was back on stage at The Game Awards, literally, as they revealed an all new game, Crash Team Rumble. Check out the reveal trailer for the game below.
Crash Team Rumble is an all-new 4v4, team-based online multiplayer video game set in Crash Bandicoot’s vibrant and zany universe. Crash Team Rumble has something for everyone: easy pick-up and play for those who want to jump in, while also providing skilled gamers the opportunity to leverage and master their hero’s unique abilities.
“We’re so excited to unveil our fresh new take on multiplayer in the Crash universe with Crash Team Rumble.” said Paul Yan, Co-Studio Head at Toys For Bob. “Crash Team Rumble has something for everyone – easy pick-up and play for those who just want to jump in, while also providing skilled gamers the opportunity to leverage and master their hero’s unique abilities.”
The game itself is coming to PlayStation, Xbox and PC, so sorry Switch owners you are getting nothing. However this is an activision game and those tend to come to Switch, about a year later than every other platform.
Right now there is no release date beyond 2023, given the series recent history, a September/October release is most likely.
