Company of Heroes 3 loses its release this year, picks up one in early 2023
In a move that really isn’t that surprising, Sega and developer Relic have announced that Company of Heroes 3 will no longer release this November as planned, and will instead release on February 23rd, 2023.
The delay isn’t surprising as the game has been quiet in a public sense, the team have been enjoying a host of internal and community driven events, but the public showings have been very slim and that was with the release date drawing ever closer.
You can check out the full statement from the developers below.
In addition to that general one, there is another more specific one.
“Working with the CoH-Dev community over the last years has been an invaluable experience and we’re immensely grateful for all of their contributions to CoH3 so far”, said Justin Dowdeswell, General Manager at Relic Entertainment. “We want to deliver the biggest and most immersive game in our franchise’s history, which means we need a bit more time for bug fixing, balancing, and polishing to ensure our players have a fantastic experience at launch.”
Finally, if you want even more details, they have some over on the games blog. So Company of Heroes 3 will now release on February 23rd, 2023.
