Celebrate Skyrim with some musical performances, made overseas and here in Australia

Early this morning, Bethesda hosted a livestream of a concert in celebration of 10 years of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, featuring the London Symphony Orchestra and London Voices.

The show goes for an hour, so if you have time to enjoy it all, it is well worth watching, as someone who owns countless releases of the games soundtrack, I enjoyed watching it live, or as live as a pre-recorded show can get, but you get the point.

This is just one of the many celebratory events happening for the 10 years, there is updates to the game and the new anniversary edition, along with art shows, fan events and more.

For a local flavour of celebration, the University of Melbourne Orchestra got in on the action, recording the main theme from home during lockdown and while it may not sound as loud as the one above, it is still a wonderful version of that iconic theme.

Plus local makers extraordinaire Hench and Scrap Foundry, recreated the Mace of Molag Bal from the game, which you can see below.

So congratulations to 10 years of Skyrim, we should get another 4 or 5 years of content from it, before Elder Scrolls 6 is released.
