Celebrate Demon Slayer with a special live stream event, streamed direct from Japan

Demon Slayer has gained a lot of attention over the past few years, what started out by manga creator Koyoharu Gotoge and contained within the famous Shonen Jump, quickly got an anime adaption and kicked off the worldwide love of the show.

If you have never heard of the manga or anime, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a story of a boy, Tanjiro Kamado who had his family murdered by a demon and joins Kisatsutai in hopes to turn his demonized sister Nezuko back to human.

The series has become so popular, there has been a movie, game which released on most platforms last year and is coming to Switch in a few months.

As for the stream, the Kimetsu Festival ~3rd Anniversary Celebration~ is a program celebrating the 3rd Anniversary of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime. The program will be streamed live and feature cast members who bring the series' world to life, as they perform an exclusive live reading of an original story and a special live dubbing performance.

The shows cast will be involved, so Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro Kamado), Akari Kito (Nezuko Kamado), Hiro Shimono (Zenitsu Agatsuma), Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Inosuke Hashibira), and Katsuyuki Konishi (Tengen Uzui) will all be voicing their respective characters.

What is interesting is that there are two different streams happening, one is for the Entertainment Arc of the show and the other is for the Mugen Train Arc. Each stream will kick off at 3pm Tokyo time on Saturday April 16 for the Entertainment Arc and then a day later at the same. 3pm Tokyo time is 4pm AEST.

If you want to watch the streams live, you will need to pay, tickets for the Entertainment Arc stream can be bought here and tickets for the Mugen Train Arc stream can be bought here. Tickets are roughly $45 each, or you can buy a ticket for both, there is no discount on it though.
