Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions is returning to gaming

Bandai Namco have announced that Captain Tsubasa is making a return to the pitch, with Rise of the New Champions coming this year to Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam, check out the announcement trailer.

Based on a popular manga and anime, players will get to live the highs and low of professional soccer, with players being able to execute an array of powerful offensive and defensive super moves as they battle other powerful soccer teams. The game will feature multiple gameplay modes including Story Modes, Versus Mode, and Online Versus Mode.

Soccer and anime fans are in for a truly unique and unforgettable experience!”

The game will only support Japanese dialogue at this time, but will be subtitled in a number of languages. It also does not have a release date, but is expected this year
