Build up a devout flock when Cult of the Lamb releases in 2022
We Australians love our lamb, but this is one time you may want to stay away from the herd, as Devolver Digital and local lads Massive Monster are bringing Cult of the Lamb to PC and consoles in early 2022, check out the debut trailer below.
The has players wool up and become a possessed lamb, who is saved from annihilation by an ominous stranger, and must repay their debt by building a loyal following in his name.
Building a following will be a challenge, as you live in a land of false prophets, but as long as you are willing to venture out into diverse and mysterious regions, you should be able to find a few members to add to your flock, to help build a loyal community of woodland worshippers and spread your Word to become the one true cult.
Every excursion into the sprawling realm reveals increasing hordes of new and more dangerous enemies, as well as rival cults whose influential leaders must be defeated in order to absorb their power and assert your cult’s dominance.
On returning to your base you must fulfil the needs of your followers in order to receive their devotion. Use resources to build new structures, perform dark rituals to appease the gods, and give sermons to reinforce the faith of your flock. As their devotion to you grows, so too will your power, allowing you to venture further into the mysterious forest and discover more of its dark secrets.
The game is set to release sometime in 2022, but there is no specific date for it yet and while know it is coming to PC, we don’t yet know what consoles the game is coming to.
