Bethesda is bringing a lot to PAX Australia 2024
Bethesda have been a big supporter of PAX Australia for a number of years and each year they opt to create new ways for fans to enjoy their games, this year they have a few options, depending on the game you like.
Sadly all the sweet rolls have been stolen this year, but don’t worry there will be cookies. Bethesda are teaming with the the Cookie Brigade and Cure Cancer AU, in order to help raise funds for cancer research. So buy yourself a cookie and help save lives while you enjoy your snack, the ultimate win-win.
We already knew that Rich Lambert, the Game Director for The Elder Scrolls Online would be at the show, you can see more guests here, and will again take part in a number of panels, including his main appearance The Music of The Elder Scrolls Online. In this panel he will be joined by Lara6683 a local musician and streamer. This celebration of music from The Elder Scrolls Online will take place at the Quokka Theatre on October 11 at 1:00pm.
But what about when you are not in panels, what else is there to do? Well take photos of course and Bethesda have a few ways to make your PAX Australia photos special. A trio of interactive photo opportunities will be present, where attendees can become part of the worlds of DOOM: The Dark Ages, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Starfield: Shattered Space. This is what they have said about the three options:
Step into DOOM: The Dark Ages and be the slayer, become the famed adventurer with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, or snap a selfie after joining House Va’Ruun in Starfield: Shattered Space.
The photo opportunities can be found out in the concourse, which runs along side the convention centre space.
But what about games that are out now, well there are options for you again. As The Elder Scrolls Online is celebrating 10 years since its release, Bethesda are going to offer folks a chance to celebrate in the best way possible, with The Elder Scrolls Online Tavern.
With authentic décor, live bard performances, a mysterious Daedric Prince, and themed drinks, this cosy tavern is the perfect gathering spot for fans.
The tavern experience is a familiar Elder Scrolls Online venue, with a few already happening around the world as the game celebrates its 10th anniversary. The Tavern is also where you can find the cookies mentioned above.
For those who prefer their adventures a little more post-apocalyptic, then the Fallout 76 Skyline Valley C.A.M.P.site Handheld Lounge. Drawing inspiration from the Pioneer Scouts of Skyline Valley, this area features cozy seating, simulated campfires, and more. Unwind, rejuvenate, and connect with fellow Vault Dwellers in our rendition of Shenandoah National Park.
So while there is no playable Indiana Jones or DOOM, there will still be lots to enjoy across the show.
