Battlefield 2042 is the next entry in the long running series

Overnight, Electronic Arts and DICE revealed Battlefield 2042, the next entry in the long running series, that will take things to new heights, at least on some maps, but doubles the action, thanks to improved player caps on PC and next-gen hardware, check out the reveal trailer below.

The game is set to release on October 22nd for PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with early access possible on October 15, for those with the right access.

The game will arrive in one of three offers, the standard game, the gold edition or the ultimate edition, the latter of the two come with the early access options.

Everyone who pre-orders the game will get access to the below digital goods, to provide just a little extra bling to your weapons.

The Gold Edition comes with the same digital goods above, but also adds in some bundles that include skins for guns and vehicles, along with a Year 1 pass, which provides access to the four seasons of content the game will offer.

Finally, there is the Ultimate Edition, which comes with everything above, but also includes an extra cosmetic bundle, the Midnight Ultimate bundle, along with a digital artbook and digital soundtrack.
