Batora: Lost Haven gets a new trailer, along with a new publisher
Stormind Games had a new trailer shown off during the second Guerrilla Collective event, during the E3 weekend, but they are back again with a new trailer and news.
The news is that they are now working with indie publishing powerhouse Team17, to help bring the game to PC, Switch, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 2022.
Antonio Cannata, CEO and Co-Founder of Stormind Games, said “Following our big announcement at E3 of the upcoming PC alpha next month, we’re thrilled to confirm we’ve found our publishing partner for Batora: Lost Haven. Team17’s heritage as an independent games label is incredibly strong, so it’s a natural fit as we look towards next year’s multiplatform launch.”
Christie Sandy, Head of External Production, Team17, said “We’re really excited to play a part of Batora: Lost Haven’s interplanetary journey with Stormind Games; it’s an engaging narrative that really leans into eye-catching 1950s sci-fi inspired visuals and unique mechanics that will make the game a memorable experience. We’re eager to see the response of action-RPG fans to next month’s alpha, which will offer a tantalising taster of what’s to come in the full game when it launches in 2022.”
After a global disaster has hit Earth, players will take on the roll of Avril, as they adventure across the stars and undertake a story that will branch out, depending on the choices made, which will impact the destiny of the universe.
Batora: Lost Haven also combines hack & slash and twin-stick shooter combat mechanics tied to separate physical and mental health bars for deep strategic and tactical gameplay, check out the latest trailer below.
