Batman Arkham Shadow has been dated for release

During the recent Meta Quest showcase, where the Meta Quest 3s headset was revealed, the release date for Batman Arkham Shadow was confirmed with it coming out for Meta Quest 3 devices on October 22nd. While there was no new trailer, we do have the one from a few weeks ago.

Players will get the chance to immerse themselves in all the grit of Gotham City with the power of VR, and take down its most notorious criminals. Much like the console Arkham games, players will be able to choose from fan favourite gadgets and bold fighting styles reimagined from the beloved Arkham franchise.

The game is also set before the Rocksteady games, so players will meet Dr Quinzel and Crane before they became Harley Quinn and Scarecrow, as well as other iconic characters including Harvey Dent, Jim Gordon and Ratcatcher.

The only downside for many players is that it is exclusive to Meta Quest 3 devices, so the larger group of Meta Quest 2 players are left out and those on any other VR will unlikely get the game.
