Axiom Verge 2 adds in both PlayStation consoles, to join its already confirmed list of platforms

During the Day of the Devs event, Thomas Happ Games revealed that Axiom Verge 2 is still in development, but in addition to the confirmed Switch and PC release, the game will now come to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, check out the latest gameplay video below.

Over on the PlayStation Blog, there is a really large post by Tom Happ, the creator of the series, about why the game is now coming to the PlayStation platforms, when it was already meant to be out last year, before being delayed.

It also, in a not so subtle way, admits that there is more to come in this series than you might think, with the events of the first game and this one, not connecting until the next. So head on over and give it a read, though if you are hoping for a release date, you will be let down.
