Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora loses its 2022 release and delays to an unknown date

During the recent release of the Ubisoft financials, it was revealed that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will no longer be releasing this year, as was the plan.

This is the full statement on the delay:

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will now release in 2023-24. We are committed to delivering a cutting-edge immersive experience that takes full advantage of next-gen technology, as this amazing global entertainment brand represents a major multi-year opportunity for Ubisoft.

This means that the game could release as early as April 1st, 2023 or as late as March 31st, 2024 and given that we have not seen anything on it, beyond the trailer below, there is no way of knowing which side of that release spectrum it could be.

We do know that when the game does release, it will come to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
