Atari are bringing Lunar Lander Beyond to Australian stores later this year
In a move that is honestly quite surprise, Atari have confirmed that local retailers will be stocking Lunar Lander Beyond when the game releases later this April, check out the most recent trailer of the game to see what its about.
Lunar Lander is not a new game, it was one of the earliest games on Atari, but this is a new take on the classic game, here is the official synopsis for the game.
As the newly appointed captain of the Pegasus Corporation, you have one key responsibility: keep clients happy and your crew’s sanity intact. Guide a roster of colorful pilots, eclectic advisors, and state-of-the-art landers through a taxing series of missions. Deliver cargo, retrieve resources, and rescue stranded pilots as you navigate a mysterious universe of moons and planets. It’s a thankless job, replete with tension and danger, and it takes a psychological toll on your crew. But someone has to keep this unseen lifeblood of the interplanetary economy moving.
The game will be released in the standard version but you can order a deluxe online from the USA. It comes with an artbook, steelbook and of course the game. Orders are available now at EB Games, JB HiFi and The Gamesmen.
While the retail release here is only for Switch and PlayStation 5, the digital release will include those and PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
