Microids have revealed the first trailer for Asterix & Obelix XXL Romastered, an updated version of the classic platforming adventure, coming this October to Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Mac and PC, check it out.

As shown off in the trailer, there are new modes to discover and for those that want to relive their retro gaming days, you can swap back and forth between the old school and the new, with the press of a button.

The other game modes are here to give you new challenges to conquer, if you desire and they are:

• The «Parkour» mode to challenge player’s agility

• The «Against the Hourglass» mode for the speed lover Gauls

• The «Extreme» mode for the bravest Gauls looking for a difficult challenge

Asterix & Obelix XXL Romastered is hitting all the platforms on October 22nd.
