Apple's HomePod Mini is adding a splash of colour to music

Apple have announced that HomePod Mini their small and powerful version of the HomePod is getting a colourful refresh, adding in three new colours, to join the existing Black and White options.

The new colours — yellow, orange and blue — aim to give users more ways to express their personality and style in any space. At just under 8.5 centimetres tall, HomePod mini offers a great music-listening experience, and as someone who uses theirs a lot, I can back up that claim.

“HomePod mini sounds incredible, and with access to more than 90 million songs in the global Apple Music catalogue and deep integration with your Apple devices, it’s the must-have smart speaker for iPhone users,” said Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. “With new vibrant colours, HomePod mini fits in even more places and delivers amazing sound, the power of Siri, and simple and secure smart home controls, all while protecting your privacy.”

The new colours are available from Apple today and should start arriving into retailers that sell Apple products over the next few weeks, they are priced the same as before, with the RRP being $149
