Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Complete reveals its details and release date
Nintendo announced a while ago that Animal Crossing Pocket Camp was pulling up its stakes and sending campers out in to the world once more, but they did confirm an offline version was coming. Now we know when and the details around it.
Nintendo did release a lengthy video that breaks it down, you can watch it at the bottom, but the highlights you need to know are thus:
The release date is December 3rd
Game will be half price until January 31st, so launching at AUD$9.99 / NZD$12.99
Players can transfer all save data over - but only until 2nd June, 2025 at 17:00 AEST
If you want to transfer your game, you will need a Nintendo Account to do so, if you have not linked your game to a Nintendo Account, you should probably do that.
While the core gameplay of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete will stay the same, several new features will be introduced. The first major update is the addition of Leaf Tokens, which players can earn and exchange for in-game items or to reduce crafting times. Another novelty is the introduction of Camper Cards, customizable cards that players can create, trade via QR code, and personalize with their favourite animal friend. Additionally, players can invite friends to Whistle Pass, a brand-new location in the game, where they can partake in activities such as live music performances.
As players develop and personalize their campsites, they, along with other campers, will have access to new content and can engage in various monthly and seasonal events, including fishing tournaments, scavenger hunts, and garden events. Many seasonal events like Easter, Halloween and Christmas will reappear, but new events will also be added to this version of the game. The cycle of events is set to happen over 4 years, so some events may only appear once in that time, Nintendo have not confirmed the schedule for new additions.
If you want to get the game, you can do so here for Android devices and here for iOS devices. A full breakdown of questions you may have can be found here, now though you can watch the video.
