Adventure awaits when The Plucky Squire releases in 2023
It was just the other day that we learnt James Turner, the art director for Pokemon was in fact the former art director, as he had left Game Freak to start his own studio and we didn’t have to wait long to learn what he was working on, as All Possible Futures, the studio in question has partnered with Devolver Digital to bring The Plucky Squire to gamers in 2023. Check out the debut trailer below.
You are Jot, a hero of the land, who with his friends goes around helping people and stopping the bad guy Humgrump. However, Humgrump never thought of himself as the bad guy and when he does, he changes things up.
That in turn allows for Jot to leap from the pages of the story book, that he lives in and instead he can now venture around the real world, with he game swapping between 2d and 3d looks.
Throughout the adventure you will have to solve puzzles, box badgers, take off and fly with a jetpack, and enjoying many more delightful and surprising mini challenges as you become the hero of a living storybook.
The game is coming in 2023 to Switch, PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S
