A new trailer is here for Evil Genius 2 and details about what is yet to come
Rebellion have released another trailer for Evil Genius 2: World Domination, but while it does show off some elements of the game, it is more a general, see what you can do here trailer. What is more interesting is that they have confirmed a new option and post launch content plans.
The new extra option coming is that of Photo Mode and it will be available at launch. Shoot your minions – no, not like that – and the rest of your island lair in all its wicked resplendence.
In Photo Mode you can adjust camera options like field of view, depth of field and focal distance, toggle the visibility of different characters, and apply a range of filters, overlays and more. Just make sure your snapshots don’t fall into the hands of the Forces of Justice.
For those looking beyond the day one release, the post launch plans have been detailed, Rebellion have confirmed that a new campaign pack is planned for post-launch, featuring a new playable Genius, island lair and Force of Justice. Across other packs they are planning to introduce new henchmen, minion types, room types, traps, items and more. More details are expected shortly after launch, including the timings of various releases.
The post release content will be included in season pass one, so if you like the game, you should consider getting that as well.
