A new trailer for Sonic Colours Ultimate is showing off just how nice everything looks now

Remasters of games tend to go one of two ways, either everything is ported across and the barest of work is done to make them look good, or everything gets touched and enhanced, to make everything pop and that is what Sega have done with Sonic Colours, which you can see in the trailer below.

In addition to redone assets at 4K and now running at 60fps, the game will also offer a new mode called Rival Rush, where you can race against Metal Sonic, explore the world with a brand new wisp power-up, enjoy a fully remixed soundtrack.

The game is coming to Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC via Epic Game Store
