A chill new season of content is coming to Splatoon 3
Nintendo have announced that Splatoon 3 is set to kick off its first season on December 1st, when Chill Season arrives, bringing with it new maps, weapons and more.
There are two new stages being added to the game, Brinewater Springs is making its debut in the series with Flounder Heights making a return, having been included in Splatoon back on the Wii U.
For those that are all about taking aim with new weapons, there will be three all-new weapons being added to the game, along with 10 returning ones. Players will find a new Roller weapon, a Charger weapon and a Shooter weapon, along with some modified sets to check out.
Perhaps the most interesting addition to the game will be Big Run, which is Salmon Run on steroids, as they are leaving the small isolated islands behind, thanks to the Salmonids invading Wahoo World. More details on that are still to come, but it is nice to see them changing things up.
Finally, it wouldn’t be Splatoon without clothes and other fresh accessories, so there is an all-new catalogue of content to check out. “Chill Season 2022” adds a new collection of gear, custom titles, victory emotes, stickers and more to help you show off your style and stand out from your “piers.” There will be new gear and items in the shops, as well!
